The T 15.5 has a hull fair body depth of less than 3”, a fully retractable center board (with lead ballast) and a flip-up rudder. Her all up trailering weight is under 700 pounds, so that any size vehicle can tow it easily. These design elements provide ease in ramp launching, and compose a shoal draft daysailor that is a breeze to trailer.

The T 15.5 has a designed displacement of 385 lbs, 180 sq ft of sail area, and her 4'4” draft spell upwind performance. Her generous beam, 15' waterline, and 200 sq. ft. spinnaker read for speed off the wind, and her topside flare aft puts crew weight further outboard for better stability without hiking. The T 15.5 can be sailed single handed or with up to 4 people, and her stability and performance remains virtually unchanged.
